Hypertufa Workshop
When: Sep. 17, 10:00AM
Where: 149 Wilsonville Road, North Grosvenordale, CT
Description
Learn how to make your very own, handmade hypertufa planter or gnome! If you’re an avid gardener but not sure what hypertufa is, you’ve probably seen it. It’s a durable cement-like pot, but lighter because it’s made from all-natural materials: Portland cement, perlite, and peat moss.
Pick a workshop date, sign up online, and come ready for an hour or so of an interesting (and relaxing) time of creating your own hypertufa! The workshop is a one-time class, with 15 spots available for this class. Simply choose between a pot or gnome.
Signup for your spot online no later than Saturday, Sept. 13th so that we can make sure there are enough materials. It is $35 to build one pot or gnome, or a person can make 2, at $50.
Just keep in mind, you’ll need to let your hypertufa creation cure for a couple days before transport. We can make arrangements for you to pickup your hypertufa a couple days after the workshop.
